April 24, 1928 Prohibition

People didn't take to kindly to prohibition act. It made riots and other things. I truly don't care. Tom doesn't like it either. I think its a good idea. Some people just don't need to drink. They are still getting the alcohol some way. I've been invited to speak easys but I always decline. I don't want to get arrested, Im too high class.

April 21, 1928 Beading

I just took up a new hobby beading. Its to take up time for Tom never being home. He's always in New York for some reason. I don't think he understand thats it hurt's my feeling but its okay. This beading is so fun though. I have gotten really good at it. Im going to teach my daughter how to do it when she gets older.

April 18, 1928 Finger Wave!

I went to the salon today. I got a goregous finger wave. Tom didn't even compliment me :( Its okay because Gatsby did :) I ran into him on my way out. Anyways the finger wave took about 3 hours to do. They got it right down to perfection. I get all dolled up for tom and he doesn't even recognize me.

April 14, 1928 Ragtime!

Today I went to a ragtime party. It was so fun. I met a famous flapper named Clarta Bow. She was wonderful to be around. Tom kept looking at her but what could i say, he is always doing that. Im simply adored by her. She is beautiful. The way she does the charleston is simple is amazing. I think I might become a flapper.

Stock Market Crash of 1929

The stock market was popular and everyone wanted to invest in it. Even my husband Tom did. After the stock market crashed though, everyone regretted it. We didn't get that affected by it. Tom was only mad that he lost money. It affected the lower class people so bad. Then they went into the depression!

My husband Tom is a wonderful man but he billttles me. I think he is cheating on me but why should i do anything about? I have the finer things in life. We have a beautiful daughter together.
